USFS South Florida Basic Skills SeriesThe USFS South Florida Basic Skills Series was started to help promote figure skating and arena cooperation in South Florida. The concept is loosely based on the "Future Champion Series" for high level skaters. Skaters are encouraged to compete as much as possible and gain valuable competition experience in a fun atmosphere. Each arena hosting a competition uses the same competition package and the skaters are rewarded with points based on their placements. If they skate in at least two of the three scheduled "Series" events they receive a final placement trophy. To learn more, visit the competition website BasicSkillsFlorida.com |
