Youth Hockey Leagues
Youth House League | Adult Hockey | Travel Hockey | Other Hockey Programs
Glacier Ice's Youth Hockey Program is open to children as young as 4 years old to 18 years of old. Everyone is welcome to play, no experience is needed. We have programs for the true beginner, recreational teams for those looking to have a great experience and a lot of fun. We also have travel hockey teams for those interested in more competetive hockey. Hockey is the coolest game around!
Hockey provides a wonderful opportunity for youth to experience the excitement and accomplishment of sport through competition. Players gain first hand experiences that will service them throughout their lives. Your child will accomplish goals with their teammates. They will experience learning and the satisfaction of personal development.. Without realizing it, they will learn problem-solving, strategic thinking, and how to analyze and deal with complex situations.
Additionally, lifelong friendships are formed among players and families.
Players will learn and develop the following skills: skating, puck-control, passing, shooting, team play, and sportsmanship. All games, practices, and clinic, will be played under USA Hockey Guidelines. A full set of equipment is required to play.

Mini-Mite Cross-Ice League
Glacier Ice is now offering a Mini-Mite League for young players aged 4-7 years old. This program follows USA Hockey Cross-Ice format and meet on Saturdays at 9:40AM-10:40AM. All participants will be taught basic hockey skills the first 25 minutes of the class, followed by a 30 minute cross-ice (small-area) game. One of the benefits of playing small-area games is that players get more "touches" of the puck, have a ton of scoring opportunities, and learn to make quick decisions with and without the puck. The game is a lot of fun and is geared for beginners. Cost for this program is $175, includes 10 classes and professional training.
